Václav Havel Airport (PRG) is the busiest airport in Czechia with almost up to 17 million passengers in 2018 and has been in operation for commercial flights since 1937. You need to buy a ticket beforehand to use public buses and metro. They are available around Terminal 1-2 visitor centers, company counters and ticket machines at the bus stops.

Public bus line 100, 119, 191, and night line 910 connect the Václav Havel Airport to various metro stations, respectively to Line B (Zličín), Line A (Veleslavín), A (Petřiny) and Line B (Anděl), and night line 910 to Line C (I.P. Pavlova).  From these metro stations, you can get to the Prague central railway station. Bus line 119 to Metro Line A is the fastest way to reach Prague city center. Express buses are available from 6:30 to 22:00 with 30-minute intervals. The trip to the city center approximately costs 80 CZK and tickets can be purchased from information centers or directly from the driver.

There are also many airport taxis available in the airport 24/7. The trip to the city center from the airport approximately costs 650 CZK.

Public Transport

Prague has an extensive, reliable and convenient public transport system that covers every part of the city.
